Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität MünchenAm 22. Februar 1943 wurden die Geschwister Hans und Sophie Scholl, Mitglieder der Widerstandsgruppe "Weiße Rose" und Studierende an der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München, und mit ihnen ihr Freund Christoph Probst in Stadelheim hingerichtet. In einer jährlichen Feierstunde im Gedenken an die "Weiße Rose" erinnert die LMU an das Vermächtnis aller Widerstandskämpfer im Dritten Reich.
