First off Trae has an overly exaggerated accent that’s like nails on a chalkboard but at least you can understand him. Mark mumbles so bad I can’t catch what he’s saying at times and the more excited he gets the harder he is to understand. This was tolerable until they started with ad breaks. One star! There’s better podcasts out there.
I look forward each week to the Weekly Skews. Sure, the news can be pretty dystopian at times, but it’s delivered with a big side order of humor by Mark Agee. He really is smart, and knowledgeable, and perceptive about how policy and technology developments are going to affect Americans’ future.
The MAGAs who are working hard to destroy democracy are literally mindless, soulless, evil zombies. And Trump is Mr. Magoo - the blind, ever- moving, non-stopping cartoon character that continues on his evil path of destroying our country.
Love Trae, but Mark talks so fast I can barely understand what he’s saying, so I don’t really listen to it as often as other podcasts that discuss politics. Slow down dude.
Love the subject, the humor, and the hosts. Been a fan of Trae’s for a long time, and over the last couple of years, I’ve grown to really appreciate Mark’s insights. As someone who teaches college humanities, I appreciate his precise arguments and deep concern about the state of the world.
