David is not shy about going deep on a variety of topics within the wedding filmmaking industry. I enjoy listening to his perspective and the what the guests he brings on have to say! Also enjoy the length of these and usually throw them on when I have a longer drive.
This episode was amazing! It confirmed my thoughts about tiktok leading to inquiries but now I understand the reason for social media in general- it serves as a verification for our couples as they search for the right fit. Social media might not bring us the big inquiries but it will help confirm a planners’ recommendation to a couple because we have a decent following on social media. Great episode, David!
I loved the episode with Kathryn from Blnk Films. Her and David are two individuals that like to pay attention to the type of things I like to pay attention to, yet are often overlooked and not discussed. Feeling, heart, and the less quantifiable layers of general creativity. Their conversation was rich in feeling, and very inspiring. I particularly noticed how much info there was in between the lines in this episode. A vibes ‘22
David has been such a resource to wedding filmmakers! I have enjoyed hearing real life stories from other wedding filmmakers and it’s been so helpful to my own wedding business. It’s amazing how much you can learn through a conversation with some talented filmmakers. Give it a listen and maybe take some notes (unless you’re driving).
