I stumbled across this show following Dontaku 2025, and immediately fell in love with it.
Wrestling reviews/previews can often be somewhat formulaic, but the love and reverence that these guys have for the product make them an incredibly worthy listen.
They also provide analysis that, quite simply put, no other NJPW podcast is; analysing all wrestlers and stories at such an incredibly high level.
If you can only listen to one NJPW podcast, make it this one.
This is podcast is outstanding. The in-depth analysis, deep dives into character work, and so much more make WWS a can't-miss show for NJPW fans and wrestling fans as a whole.
Woooo, what a show!
It’s so refreshing to listen to a njpw pod where the hosts don’t sound suicidal over the direction of the company. Perfect analysis of Sanada and his story arc in the Destruction review.
Great show for news and in depth coverage thanks to okada shorts for introducing me to this awesome show
