I've been listening to this pod since its inception, as somebody who has been served up rejection time & time again, I was looking for inspiration.
There are a lot of episodes featuring rejection & battling through, there are plenty where "rejection" is minimal at best. The Mariska Hargitay ep is the 1 that pushed me to review the pod. It's presented that her rejection is; being inexperienced & having dark hair. The tag by Terry O does a FANTASTIC job of building the real lesson & inspiration.... more
Bring back the old theme song/music. This new variation is bland and just terrible.
I love the podcast and think that the premise that everyone encounters rejection. It is up to you how you react to it that will change your future for better or worse, that we get to learn form others that went before.
I think that a great story to add to this would be doing an episode on JK Rowling and how she wrote the Harry Potter series.
The stories are always interesting and motivating. At the end of every episode, I find myself either in happy tears or dancing my butt off to the catchy theme song and feeling uplifted. You will definitely not regret following this show. Infinite stars!
This is a great podcast content-wise the narration is cloying and grating sonically. A new voice would allow this podcast to be 5 star. Writing is definitely 5 star
