Good stories, good lessons. Really enjoying it.
John, what an incredible job you’re doing by compiling Purple Heart recipients and allowing them to tell their stories. As a recipient myself, and a student of history, i appreciate how you’re giving a voice to this group. The stories i have listened to, until this point, have been very honest and moving! I’m inspired every time i listen to one of these stories because it speaks to the resiliency of the American Military. I’m fortunate to have been able to gain employment at a VA medical center ... more
I came across this podcast by chance. It is not something I typically would listen to, but I am so glad that I did. The compelling story of how each individual came to receive their Purple Heart is inspiring and insightful. John Konya does an excellent job in bringing these heroes to the forefront and in sharing their tales. I would not hesitate to recommend this podcast to anyone in any demographic as I believe the stories told share an universal truth that we all can gain from.
John Konya does a great job hosting this podcast in which Purple Heart from different wars and conflicts recipients tell their stories. Highy recommended!

I have been a coworker of John the host of this podcast for several years. The podcast is a fantastic tribute to what our military and especially our Purple Heart recipients have been through for all of us. I cannot thank all of them enough. I recommend this to anyone with an interest in the military.
I was very happy to be given the opportunity to be on this podcast and share my experiences in Vietnam.
