My eight year old son and I love this podcast! We love learning about Mi’kmaq words, culture and people (like scientists and authors). When. Pam Palmater presents a topic that might be sad or difficult for children, she does so with honesty and sensitivity, making it very accessible for all ages. If you have a young child, this podcast will be very informative and inspiring!
This podcast is such a gift. As settlers on Turtle Island, our family is always looking for Indigenous-created resources to help us learn about decolonization and indigenization. This is one of those resources - my 5 year old daughter listens to each episode on repeat. Thank you Dr Palmater!
This is our favourite podcast by far. My kids (5&8) absolutely love it and learn so much.
