Today I started to listen to an episode of Wall Street Unplugged. I spent the first 5 minutes hearing about the host and co-host’s weekend activities. Then 5 minutes of political opinions.
I turned it off before ever getting anything resembling investment advice. If I want small talk and uninformed political opinions from lay observers I’ll go to a bar. I thought this was a financial investment podcast. Well, it is now Unplugged from my phone.
I was sold and paid for a lifetime subscription to Unlimited Income. They cancelled it for business reasons and will not refund any of my payment. If fact, customer service will not respond to my emails. This is poor customer relations and shows that they will not “do the right thing” when it comes to their pocket.
Frank, I've been listening to you for more than 10 years. I like the content and your no BS style. But it's almost impossible to listen to you anymore because you've adopted the "right" vocal crunch. Do you really have to say "right" at the end of every other sentence? Or throw the word "right"in the middle of a sentence for no reason? This vocal crutch seems to be everywhere in financial podcasts these days. there are AI programs that will edit this out easily.
Frank is trying to imitate Cramer. It is now more entertainment than a serous investors show. Topics are getting less and less analytical and more opinionated. His show has been surpassed by other more serious podcasts.
