  • Hard to follow

This podcast is hard for me to follow. Too much theatrics, laughing, feels unorganized, and it takes awhile to get to the point. I think I’ll enjoy just reading the transcript instead as I’m really interested in learning from him.

  • Freedom from religion

I discovered Matt a few years ago thanks to a sister in the Lord that I no longer have contact with and who I miss dearly, Lucy introduced me to his videos & in the beginning, my head was hurting, trying to wrap my legalistic mind around what Matt was teaching but then after I followed scripture along with Matt, my eyes were opened to the truth of God‘s word and set me free from performance based religion, which always caused so much stress in my life Matt‘s preaching has been a tremendous bless... more

  • Law and Grace

God uses people to share the good news!! That is what Matt is doing, separating law from grace! I first learned about this separation from Andrew Farley ministries, but Matt has really driven the message home for me! God has purposely put me in the path of these two Godly men! Who has changed my life significantly! Jesus plus nothing!! It’s finished!! Rest and trust!!

  • True teacher

Matt does a really good job of honoring the purpose of the Bible (Jesus’s sacrifice) while also debunking misinformed beliefs by providing context to the verses. I feel like I actually understand the Bible and God’s messages after listening to Matt for a while bc his teaching style actually equips you to understand better. I leave and come back to this podcast but I always come back. Definitely recommend.

It was hard for me to comprehend the truth at first. It seemed too easy and really it just made too much sense. How could I get to Heaven if I don’t “do” anything to get there? That way of thinking completely ignored the power and significance of the Blood of Christ! Who am I that a KING would die for me? I’m his son. That’s who. An heir through Christ. We as humans had proven that we couldn’t do. So Jesus did. Once and for all!
