  • The worst hermeneutic I’ve heard.

Credit for him trying. But his arguments are blatantly designed to bolster up his position and not what Scripture says. I understand there is much nuance to the Bible. But Matt’s broad generalizations of some of his points are going to be damaging to a lot of people trying to understand the Bible.

  • Believer in Jesus

I have also been in recovery for many years and can relate to Matts sharing of who we are in Jesus.

I carried alot of Southern Baptist , fire and brimstone baggage, which made me feel unworthy and “tainted, lukewarm Christian”

Today I know who I am in Christ,

    Thanks Matt!

  • False teachings

This man has such a prideful arrow out him that he refuses to teach the true word of God. Matt thinks he is smarter than Jesus, and the words of the Bible, and he bends those words to fit his false narrative. Matt is MUCH MORE CONCERNED with selling books and getting like and less concerned with preaching the truth.

Fearing the Rapture, that I would be going to hell because of every little mistake I made. Matt's ministry that is based on the Bible and the word of God has liberated me of years of pain.
