God uses people to share the good news!! That is what Matt is doing, separating law from grace! I first learned about this separation from Andrew Farley ministries, but Matt has really driven the message home for me! God has purposely put me in the path of these two Godly men! Who has changed my life significantly! Jesus plus nothing!! It’s finished!! Rest and trust!!
Matt does a really good job of honoring the purpose of the Bible (Jesus’s sacrifice) while also debunking misinformed beliefs by providing context to the verses. I feel like I actually understand the Bible and God’s messages after listening to Matt for a while bc his teaching style actually equips you to understand better. I leave and come back to this podcast but I always come back. Definitely recommend.
It was hard for me to comprehend the truth at first. It seemed too easy and really it just made too much sense. How could I get to Heaven if I don’t “do” anything to get there? That way of thinking completely ignored the power and significance of the Blood of Christ! Who am I that a KING would die for me? I’m his son. That’s who. An heir through Christ. We as humans had proven that we couldn’t do. So Jesus did. Once and for all!
I have been listening to Matt McMillen’s Walk Talks for about a year and a half now. This podcast has opened my eyes to the truths concerning God’s Grace and forgiveness, the difference between Christianity and man made tradition, church history many other things about the Gospel that we are often taught in error by others. This podcast has really renewed my faith and put my heart at ease concerning my relationship with Christ!
Credit for him trying. But his arguments are blatantly designed to bolster up his position and not what Scripture says. I understand there is much nuance to the Bible. But Matt’s broad generalizations of some of his points are going to be damaging to a lot of people trying to understand the Bible.
