This is a wonderful podcast for anyone in the theatre or anyone who wants to learn about theatre! Amanda Cobb is a great host and she has a wide variety of guests with entertaining and enriching stories about their understudy experiences. Highly recommend!
Amanda’s enthusiasm is contagious.
I was able to feel her passion on each episode as well as discover her guest with her.
The podcast was such a great window to learn about backstage and the crazy amount of work actors must endure to let us enjoy their art.
I’m not a Broadway fan but I couldn’t stop listening to the episodes out already. It’s a window into a world I know nothing about! The insights about hard work, perseverance, etc really carry over to anyone’s life (not just actors)
This is amazing, as a theater maker it’s great to have a resource of real insights about understudies and swings. Can’t believe how these incredible actors are often overlooked, playing such a big part as they do in the industry. It’s enlightening and eye opening (also fun) to hear their personal stories and experiences. I love how invested the host is in bringing their voices to the forefront.
I can’t wait for more episodes to come out! Perfect for transporting me out of the stress of my day. ❤️❤️❤️
