在確定必須聘僱外籍看護工後，台灣雇主必須先決定由誰來當雇主?如果是家庭看護工，通常被照顧的對象很多已經年老或多病，難以處理事情，因此可以由其直系親屬或照顧之親友擔任雇主，來向勞動部提出申請。如果是產業移工，就是以公司名義向勞動部提出外籍移工人力申請。

繼前一本書《印度尼西亞-群島的願景》出版後，作者感覺一本書其實根本無法描述完印尼，印尼是一個歷史悠久的古文明，也是一個國土廣大的群島國家，人口更是世界第四大之2億8千萬，38個省分，1萬7千多個島嶼，3百多個種族，各種地方方言多不可勝數。
但是許多印尼人的第一次申辦護照、第一次出國卻是前往台灣，這個好像遙遠又陌生，卻又是許多人印尼傳說中出國打工首選的國度。

美國以色列伊朗的戰爭已經打了將近兩個月，還完全沒有即將結束的跡象。大家絕對不可以聽美國總統川普在那邊自言自語說與伊朗談判已經有很大、很好、大家想像不到的正面結果云云，其實恰恰相反的，這場戰爭反而眼見著將與俄烏戰爭一樣陷入無限僵局的延長賽，原先主動發動攻擊的美國想盡快結束戰爭而不可得，以色列原先信心滿滿可將伊朗核武剷除的計畫也落空了。
