  • A good time

Ben and Michiel are arcade veterans and there’s a lot of joy in their reminiscences of this era. They’re also experts - Michiel being a game developer and Ben a highly accomplished player - and have a lot of deep knowledge to share, along with well-researched and interesting contextual information about the events and pop culture of those times. This show’s biggest attribute, though, is that Ben and Michiel are friends who seem to be doing this primarily as an excuse to hang out and chat togethe... more

  • I'm just starting with the older episodes and I love it. Even if you were not often at the arcades back in the day, as long as you are into classic gaming, this podcast is an endless source of good games to try on MAME. The only thing I'm not convinced about is the arcade background sound, but it is growing on me (or they are moving the volume down).

  • Time Machine, entertaining and an amazing sense of humor

I confess I hear long podcasts but this crossed every limit. Both presenters keep me hooked to the content. Love the quirky and cheeky discussions. At times this podcasts takes me right back to good childhood days of mine and it’s so relatable to my generation. Can’t wait to hear more! 💙

  • Funny, informative and amazing!

Every episode provides a wonderful focused view into the past, hosted by two funny dudes! At first, before listening, I thought "Why is every episode so long?", but now every time I'm like "Aw is it done already?!?"

And there can never be enough jabs at Bon Jovi.
