Amusing historical drama
I am sucker for anything with H.G. Wells time travelling in and this one is very fun. Mayhem, Morlocks and Mary Shelley being iconic.
Historical romp interspersed with clever satirical references. Enjoyed the precise tea specifications from Orwell's Evening Standard Essay.

Mashing these speculative fiction writers together is already a fun idea. But at around episode 3, the story, the jokes and the references really take hold, and then I was throughly enjoying it - I got some of the references, but I’m sure there are plenty I didn’t.
