The experience of a sudden or unexpected loss leaves us lost, without direction and in unspeakable pain. Untethered: Healing the Pain from a Sudden Death is designed to bring together a community of people hurting, and unite them in their quest to anchor themselves, rebuild and move forward in life. This community of listeners will be unique in their common understanding of trauma and loss and their deep yearning for loved ones no longer physically present after their lives were cut short in a traumatic manner. The show focuses on the realities of living with traumatic loss and actions to decrease pain. The podcast will also feature the experiences of those willing to share their most vulnerable moments, insights and growth. Early episodes of the show will be educational in nature and focus on the unique aspects of a traumatic loss and later expand to include interviews with professionals in the field and grieving individuals who will share their experiences and growth.
