  • Disappointed

Started listening to the Pettingell Podcast took about 25 minutes before it even started and then it s more about two people gossiping than hard facts . Love Aussie True crime but didn’t enjoy this

  • Hanging with my mates

I really love the format of this podcast. Two mates hanging out, talking about the true crime cases that have captured their attention. It has a unique flow - and I’m here for it! You can tell the friendship is solid and this is THEIR time away from the craziness of parenting and life. Very relatable! (Especially the volunteering to be a trainer for your kids AND the heartache of backing the Dees!🤣) I have binged all episodes now and really look forward to Tuesdays. I think we could be besties ... more

  • Love this podcast!

I will admit that it took me a few episodes to really get into the dynamics of the podcast but I love it now. I’m more used to single host true crime and the banter & correcting each other did irritate me a little (sorry ladies LOL) but as I listened to more I got into the “it’s 2 besties having a chat” groove and I love it now.

They are sensitive to victims in the way they speak respectfully about them which is something that’s a must for me. The Anita Cobby ep is an example.

  • Needs better research

If you're going to discuss these cases with the level of authority you're trying to convey you MUST be more meticulous with your research. Just listened to the Dawson case and there are an incredible number of basic errors and misinformation which are easily identified by anyone who's followed this case through Hedley's podcast. For a start HT didn't go to Cromer High - he's from Qld and attended the same high school that Dawson ended up teaching at after he moved up there, although I believe H... more

  • Two Crime Besties, feels like you’re the Third besty!!

I have only just discovered these ladies and I’ve gotten through about 15 episodes in 3 days 😂 maybe 2 actually. As a fellow Melbournian, it just feels so good to hear their voices.

It feels like I’m just hanging with my besties, hearing stories. Love you ladies! Keep it up! I need to jump in YouTube too 😂👌
