I wish I read more but sadly my attention span is very 2024, thankfully I now have Josh’s podcast to enlighten me about books I should read. I love hearing people talk about books. So far my favorite ep has been Chris Estrada. Book people can be so precious and serious and I love that Josh is talking to comedians about books, because it ends up feeling casual and approachable. Josh has a great radio voice.
As the first guess on this pod, I want to say Josh is a great host and I had a great time!!! I’ll be listening to all the eps. I LOVE BOOKS.
I'm interested in seeing where this show ends up. These first two were promising! Hoping that somewhere in the future you'll get people from outside the LA bubble. There's cool literate people everywhere :)
There’s just something about Josh’s vibe. Brings comfort to a space when he’s speaking in it. Loved the realness of episode one and it has me excited for more. The world needs more people talking about the power of the Humanities. Books are awesome and so is Josh. Much love from one Josh to another. Cheers to this new space!
Something about Josh’s voice is informative but also puts me at ease. That perfect relaxed place to listen and absorb information, and the jokes are pretty good.
