改めて読んでみた花宴は「あれ？こんなに短かったっけ？」と思うのですが、紫式部先生がそれで終わらせるわけはございません。短い中にもギュギュっといろんなことが凝縮されていて、メインディッシュにたどり着くのも難儀してしまいます。
若かりし頃のおぎは自分に素直ではっきりとモノをいう朧月夜のことが大好きでした。そんな女性にあこがれもしたものです。しかしあれからウン十年。政治的立場や兄宮との関係を考えた時に、よくもまあこんなことができたものだとその若さゆえの暴挙に身も震えるばかりでございます。
