I listen to this pod for Jack. The minus one star is for Ryan. He is absolutely insufferable and contributes nothing but awkwardness. Jack, please consider doing this solo.
Really tried to enjoy this, but Ryan is hard to listen to. Listened to the Howie Mandel episode and had to push to finish. Can’t say I’ll try another episode with Ryan there. Interrupts, derails the conversation and seems a bit insufferable. Sorry, Jack.
Jack is a fantastic host and clearly awesome person. He has a certain inherent kindness that makes listening to him soothing like a good friend. There is wisdom and maturity there. Also, he understands social cues and how to have a conversation. He brings out the best in his guests. Conversely, Ryan Drexler is obnoxious, talks over and tries to one up the guests, and for reasons unknown has a huge ego. I’m sorry, I don’t like being so blunt but he’s just really unlikable. Jack, you should try an episode where you ask Ryan how he ripped off 1,000’s of investors in his failed company Musclepharm by diluting their investment and then issuing the company shares to himself via bonus. That would be a good business “what not to do unless you’re a douche” episode.
