Phenomenally funny podcast. Matt is an amazing host and the campaigns are fantastic (it was great to see Millie take part for a change). Mark is always a hilarious regular and I absolutely adore (as an international viewer/listener) discovering great Australian comics who I otherwise may’ve missed out on. Feel very lucky.
This podcast is genuinely brilliant. The cast of Australian comedians is wonderful, and Matt Jackson's guidance of their complete chaos is truly awe inspiring. How am I so deeply invested in these utterly unhinged characters and true messes of plots?? Tears of laughter.
Matthew is such a great storyteller. The way he is able to consume information from participants, co-directors and producers; and engage us all with characters and wit really is the strength of this podcast.
Yes - the comedians are funny, on it and also fully committed; but massive ups to you, Matthew - you make this show!!
A show that perfectly captures the absurdity of playing a table top RPG with your friends, then dialled up to eleven. The loose RPG rules work in its favour, making it easy for the listener to understand, as well as keeping the players/cast from getting too bogged down in mechanics. The rotating cast of comedians as well as the changing trope gimmick guarantee’s a campaign/season for everyone’s tastes. Can’t recommend this enough!
Extremely funny show. Matthew’s an excellent dm

A satirical, high-energy show where a rotating cast of chaos-loving comedians improvise through movie-genre archetypes, with a steady focus on roleplaying humor, narrative play, and witty banter. Recurring themes include improvised storytelling, character dynamics, and playful deconstruction of RPG tropes, often blending pop culture references with genre pastiches. Standout moments come from epic ensemble chemistry, inventive gimmicks, and a DM-led mashup of comedy and storytelling that keeps episodes fresh across arcs and debriefs. The format seems especially engaging for listeners who enjoy collaborative humor, structured chaos, and behind-the-scenes reflections on campaign design and performance dynamics.
