This podcast is so good I put up with all the puns. I've recently found out there is a new trend in games called Tricktaking, which has been around for centuries, but some amazing new games are now using this age old system. These guys fully explore it, and I'm always learning about the newest ones. Thanks Ryan and Patrick!
lots of great information and differing opinions on hard to find trick taking games.
I have only recently started diving into the realm of trick takers. I love how these guys obviously love trick takers and do a great job of describing the games and getting me excited about trying to new games!
I know these dudes! Love that they’re talking about trick-taking games. Sounds super niche, but the genre is having a crazy boom. Truly unique games are being built in the genre, most notably in Japan. These are highly playable if one so desired. Many can even be played online for free. It’s kind of awesome! Support these guys. They’re great.
