  • Great new format

Like many others, I’ve been around since the Hot Clicks days. It was a Instagram or Facebook reel before those even existed.

One nitpick, the Joe Buck interview was awesome and the AI Joe Buck call at the end of the UM/Western Michigan game was incredible and has been replayed at my office all week. But….how do not ask him at least a hypothetical on what it would be like to have a major shuffle in the booth so close to the start of the season, ala CBS? You wouldn’t have to ask him to say if... more

  • Stardust & Peppermill

Favorite podcast out there. You and Sal are awesome together. The last pod when you talked about going to LV brought back memories. We were undoubtedly both in the Stardust book at the same time. Scucci ran the book back then. Even sat next to Tark one

Friday afternoon. The Peppermill was our go to late night food run.

  • Excellent Start to the New Podcast

I’ve been a fan since I discovered Jimmy’s previous podcast while on my lunch break four years ago. While I was sad to see the SI Podcast come to an end, I’ve enjoyed listening to the first three podcasts of Traina Thoughts. The A-Rod episode was phenomenal and I enjoyed the honest and sincere back and forth between Jimmy and A-Rod. I’m looking forward to hearing which recurring guests will be on the new podcast and also new guests that will be interviewed. Also, I’m looking forward to the addit... more

  • Exceptional Inaugural Episode!

Really enjoyed your interview with A-Rod. I’ve been a fan since he joined the Yankees and his candid answers reinforce my opinion of the player and man.

Excellent job on having such a terrific and compelling inaugural guest.

    Thanks!

  • A-ROD

I gotta say, the interview with Alex Rodriguez was outstanding. Never liked him as a player and always thought of him negatively. But your interview revealed a side of him I’ve never seen nor heard before. Well done.

  • Entertaining & Fun

Listening to this pod each week is akin to talking with a friend about sports headlines, sports media, and recent noteworthy games, esp NFL, college football, MLB (mostly NY teams), NBA, and WWE. Jimmy is authentic, unpretentious, generally decent, and sometimes funny to boot.

  • Great To Have Traina Thoughts Back!

Missed having Traina Thoughts last week and I thought I was going to have to wait until September 8th. Great surprise to have Jimmy & Sal back together earlier than expected! Also excellent that Traina Thoughts is its own show! Look forward to the interview and "wild card" pods. Good luck to Sal with his wife over the Sabrina Carpenter album. P.S.: I told you I would follow you guys to the next destination! - Brian from Westchester County

  • I like the new digs…

Great first episode with Sal. So very glad they kept the band together, and even managed to avoid ANY wrestling jibber-jabber in this first episode! The only downside it that it might be the last episode given how much of a dummy Sal is with his wife! :-). Keep up the good work, rooting for you!

  • Great debut episode

Just wanted to let you both know how much I enjoyed your first episode. I’m glad that you have had such a positive reception at your new venture. I also wanted to let you know that to watch the Wild Card round of the playoffs, you will need to subscribe to Peacock at least for a short amount of time. A couple of games will be on NBC, and the others will be on Peacock.
