This show is great. I stumbled on it and got into before I realized the production team also made “The End of All Hope”.
That one was awful and I left after 1 1/2 episodes.
This show is a great leap forward from there and an engaging piece of work from writing to final production. Definitely recommended listening.

Yes, there are mysterious goings-on in the woods, a conspiracy, an unseen but terrifying monster, extremely dodgy scientific experiments, and a large amount of men with guns hunting the protagonists for unexplained reasons. There's also a lot of slow character development, as Mike and Amber's stories and relationships unfold. This is a fantastic and entertaining listen. Robert Lamb has expertly weaved an edge of your seat, slow burn, with fantastic character development and nuanced voice actors. Highly recommend. I’m almost all the way through season two and I only began listening a couple days ago. I’ll be checking out their other productions now based on how great this one is.
