What’d you do to the old Mike, the new replacement for Mike stinks!
This show starts off as an amazing horror in the woods show. Nothing but praise for how hard this goes at first. The latest season how ever crashed and burned. Pun intended. It became a noir espionage show about boring backstories and bad dialog and worse monologue. I don’t know whose bright idea it was to completely shift the tone from one season to the next but this is bad…like Rey Skywalker bad… oof
First season was solid but except for that the first half of every other season sucks. Excessive dragging of the plot but it usually improves as you continue to listen (until it worsens again each new season...).
This is one of my favorite shows and I’ve been listening since the beginning.
I’ve been listening for years now and absolutely love the development of the story and the relationship you build with the characters. Thanks team for all the hard work you do to get this podcast going
