As the hosts say, this is the perfect antidote to modern life. Lots of interesting nuggets, and also a variety of opinions. I prefer the movie episodes rather than music due to more familiarity with them. The messing around between the group (always good when the movie hound is around!) is like being with a group of friends winding each other up. Also enjoy the guest hosts from other podcasts covering similar material.
Totally 80s and 90s is an absolute blast from start to finish, perfectly capturing the spirit, music, movies and pop culture that defined two unforgettable decades. Dave and Rob are quick-witted, knowledgeable and endlessly entertaining with a chemistry that makes every episode feel like you are hanging with. Friends. 5 stars
My therapist suggested I try listening to a podcast during my commute to help manage stress and keep my road rage in check while driving through brutal NJ traffic. Honestly, I thought it was one of the dumbest ideas I’d ever heard—but I gave it a shot anyway. After trying a few different shows, I was about ready to give up… and then I found you guys. I’m being 100% honest when I say: it’s actually working. Looking forward to future episodes.
These guys are great! Def worthy of following and listening to all of their content. Recommend for all Gen Xers as well as those that just want some 80/90s in their life!
