As someone who has listened to this podcast for 9 years or so, I can say that this sentiment has not changed. My gaming tastes, playing habits, and platforms of preference have evolved, and yet this podcast still remains an important part of my listening habits.

The three co-hosts, Sean, Jon, and Paul, each bring a unique gaming background with a variety of games that they talk about each week. You can always count on hearing their opinions on the latest and greatest, a retro classic, and hidde... more

  • Just Fun To Listen To

I always smile when I listen to this. The banter is much appreciated. It’s three dudes who love games talking about games and the ones they love. I enjoy hearing more than one opinion (my own) on a certain game or console and this is more than sufficient. I would pay for this (please don’t make me).

Q: What was I saying? Top Down Perspective November 20th. I'm Sean Booker.
Well, good luck with the road. Are you like just starting that?
Top Down Perspective 20/11/25
Q: Claire, have you been playing anything?
Yes, but I'm actually playing stuff on an embargo, so I can't actually say what I've been playing.
Top Down Perspective 09/10/25
Q: What do you think about the new games coming out?
I hope so, that would be a nice finale for sure. It's been good. I've enjoyed it so far.
Top Down Perspective 09/10/25
Q: What are you playing this week?
I'm going back through Silent Hill F, trying to get some of those other endings doing the new game plus stuff.
Top Down Perspective 18/09/25
Q: At what point does a hard game cross the line to become unfair?
It seems hostile towards the player, and in the case of Dark Souls, unreadable situations can be unfair. Mario Sunshine has some bullshit moments but overall is more annoying than unfair.
