This is a great, short duration program that provides great anecdotes that offer an opportunity for reflection. The Birdman and Ninja exemplify humility and provide great information. The post production work adds humor and entertainment.
It is interesting listening to these guys speak about their experiences.
It’s a fascinating blend of a rookie (in birding) and an expert (in martial arts) sharing simple, yet highly relatable, stories of their pursuit of the next level. Next level of a skill set? Next level of consciousness? It doesn’t matter. Their lighthearted banter and down-to-earth approach really makes you feel like you don’t have to be a monk to reach a higher level.
Their anecdotes make you feel like you’re on the adventure with them and the post-production work creates an immersive experien... more
I wager there are few other podcasts where you will hear Miyamoto Musashi quoted right before a discussion of a Burrowing Owl. These guys cover such a wide range of topics that it’s hard to categorize the program. However, if I were to try, I‘d say this podcast is about the discipline of knowing one thing, in order to know ten thousand things. I’m looking forward to the next episode!
