I just found this podcast and I really wanted to like it, gain a bit of insight, and feel a bit hopeful, but given the results of our recent election I believe I will never understand trump country people who don’t seem to mind contaminated water, don’t believe in the climate crisis and continue to vote against their best interest. This touched me as I work in travel - but i travel to a different nursing facility in my state . I could picture this facility in my mind, sadly of the 60-70 homes I visit regularly… i can say maybe 3 sound like this one. Amazing writing and great listen! Thank you for sharing
