Only 2 episodes in and this has already become my favourite podcast. I like other Shakespeare podcasts, but as someone who is endlessly fascinated by Hamlet in particular and who feels like she could spend hours just discussing any given line from it, I am so thrilled and grateful that his podcast exists- I've found listening to it to be such an insightful, emotional and informative experience. And it's so well-produced, making it just an all-round pleasure to listen to. Bravo and thank you! I r... more
Wonderful podcast from Andrew Smith, a writer / director / producer / editor who already has a long list of documentary credits to his name. That experience pays off handsomely here: everything fits together seamlessly, and there isn't a single wasted moment. Fascinating interviews with philosophers / critics who’ve thought about Hamlet and actors who’ve starred in it. Just the thing for the lockdown!
Good listening and highly informative.
