I have to admit ladies, I’m not a fan of the new format of the show. It sounds like you’re reading a script and not like I’m listening to friends talk about true crime.

I don't mind the swearing or banter, I think it gives more likable character to the podcast for them being who they're and not sounding like a professionally written audiobook that sounds like someone is reading it straight from the paper. It's a conversation style podcast after all where the hosts' personalities are supposed to show and I like their personalities and opinions.
