佛說：「樂於不放逸的比丘，猶如烈火焚盡結縛。」(2.8,v31)
一位修行受挫的比丘在森林大火前悟出：智慧應如烈火，勇往直前。現代生活的名利、執著與謬誤，正如阿毘達磨所說束縛眾生的「十結」。因此，佛陀教導我們，與其在放逸中沉淪，不如點燃內在的覺性之火，將十結燒成灰燼，成就沙門果位。

帝釋天的榮耀並非天降奇蹟，而是凡人瑪伽透過「不放逸」的極致實踐。
他憑藉七項誓願，將平凡的日常修煉成晉升天界的階梯。也就是說，命運並非定數，而是每一瞬「自覺/行動」的累積。放逸者如同在迷霧中徘徊，終將與目標背道而馳；唯有保持醒覺，在微小的德行上恆毅不懈，便能從凡夫蛻變為生命的主宰。
