Heard about this pod on Half Measures Podcast and now I’m addicted. Finally, two people who know their Who, talking honestly about it, right from the VERY beginning. Informative. Hilarious. Controversial. Irish. What’s not to love.
In this podcast we are invited to join two firm friends in their ongoing discussions of the Whoniverse. The discussions start at the very beginning and go through episode by episode: analysing The Doctor; their companions; prominent individuals; and villains; ending up with an overall appreciation and their personal rankings. The discussion is lively, entertaining and informative.
This is the perfect podcast to listen to if you want to learn about Classic Who and have a laugh along the way. That’s my angle. I imagine if you are already familiar with the stories, it could be even more rewarding! A weekly pod that is very addictive.
It’s clear that Trisha and Paddy have an abiding love of Doctor Who. They are going through everything story from the very beginning and bring refreshing insights. Unlike so many Whovian podcasts, they keep in mind that others are listening and don’t exclude people by entertaining each other at the expense of those joining them.
Great podcast to help you journey through Doctor Who from the very beginning. Hosts provide a good mix of analysis and trivia for each story, making them excellent companions.
As a novice Who fan who only really watched in the 80s, this podcast is an opportunity to explore some more and go way back to when it all started. Love the format and the attention to detail. And who doesn't love listening to an Irish accent?!!
As a novice Who fan who only really watched in the 80s, this podcast is an opportunity to explore some more and go way back to when it all started. Only a couple of episodes in to this pod, but already I love the format and the attention to detail. And who doesn't love listening to an Irish accent!
