  • These dudes are the bees freakin knees!!

Time Blaster Toy Cast has been a huge inspiration for me. Hearing so many collectors’ stories, perspectives, and passions has really highlighted why this hobby means so much—and why it’s more than just “toys.”

After making a recent career move, I’ve finally been able to focus on this hobby in a real way, and it genuinely makes me so frickin’ excited and happy. I’ve started going through my childhood toys, reconnecting with that nostalgia, and even launched an Instagram page @supertommystoys to ... more

  • A pleasure each week

Greetings from Canada! The guys at Time Blaster Toycast are one of my favourite listens each week. I first found them through my shared love of WWF hasbros but have stuck around to learn about so many other fun toy lines from when I was a kid. I started a Mortal Kombat GI Joe collection before I knew it and haven’t looked back. Keep up the awesome work and hope to stop by the shop one day.

Listener Q&A Part 8! We're Taking Your Questions!
Q: What toy line universe would you want to live in, among options like GI Joe, TMNT, Transformers, Power Rangers, Marvel, DC?
The group leans toward TMNT as the most realistic and relatable universe, balancing real-world setting with mutant adventures, while acknowledging the peril and excitement of other franchises.
Listener Q&A Part 8! We're Taking Your Questions!
Q: What discontinued toy line would you bring back? And would you bring it back as it was originally released or as a re-release?
They contemplate nostalgia-driven restorations, with a preference for faithful re-releases of classic lines rather than high-end modern reinterpretations, while acknowledging some titles could be rebooted in simpler, retro-inspired forms.
Listener Q&A Part 8! We're Taking Your Questions!
Q: Matt from Facebook is asking, what are your thoughts on Playmates losing the TMNT license? Yeah. And is that the end of 2026 or the end of this year?
The hosts discuss that 2026 is Playmates' last full year with the license and speculate about the impact on vintage TMNT releases, noting that the license change could reshape the market and possibly spur a reboot or new licensing deals with bigger companies.
It's Morphin' Time! Rocky The Red Ranger, Steve Cardenas Is In The Lab!
Q: What was it like joining the show at its peak and then transitioning to Zeo?
I had already done about 80 episodes as the Red Ranger when Zeo was pitched; it wasn't a choice given, but I understood the need to evolve with the franchise and I did my best to embrace the new direction, while still honoring what fans loved about the original look.
We're Talking ASTRONOMICON 8 With TWIZTID!
Q: What is the one toy or one item that you are seeking that's like your grail right now?
Shogun Warriors, all of them in the box.
