  • Lakeland dreaming myself

Hey Rogello Chris and Yupper , love the show , I play it every week. Love the laughs and talk about our Michigan culture etc. thanks for keeping it PG-13 with the language. I wish I was down in Tiger Town myself . Great to hear Rogello asking questions at the press conferences. So cool that you got your press credentials . I would love to see you make your full time career.

  • Good content but annoying attitude

I want to love this podcast. I’m a die hard Tigers fan, love the deep dive minor league content, and the hosts are well informed. But it can often just be too painful to listen to. The biggest problem is the host’s incessant whining about Tigers fans. In particular, the host’s repeated use of his “dumb guy” voice to state the dumb fan strawman opinions, is insufferable. If they’d just stop spending half of their time ripping every random twitter user who says something they don’t agree with (and... more

  • Content is good, but *please* improve audio quality

Seems like edits are made almost at random - lots and lots of partial words. Maybe this is a factor of speakers leaning away from the mic, not sure, but it’s a very tough listen. Which is a shame because the content is usually quite good. And one last thing: s-l-o-wwwwww d-o-wwwwww-n a bit, guys. You’ll sound more authoritative and your thoughts will stay ahead of your mouth; a win-win. You’ll like it.

TMLR Mailbag #1 2024
Q: Do you think some of those prospects could be some process?
There are several pitchers, particularly in the AAAA range, who could be used as trade chips, and guys like Justin Himmelloy or Justice Bigby could be part of a trade package.

Q: How do you see the impact of Eduardo Rodriguez’s decision on the team?
He didn't want to leave a comfortable situation in Detroit for a questionable one with the Dodgers.
Bonus Episode: Chris McCosky of the Detroit News stops by
Q: Do you think the Tigers will add any more bats this offseason?
They might be done with bats but will likely look for a veteran catcher.
Bonus Episode: Chris McCosky of the Detroit News stops by
Q: What was your takeaway from the winter meetings?
There was a lack of activity, which was surprising, particularly with big names like Soto being potentially traded.
Episode 071: Statcast, Spring Training, and Skubal
Q: What are you hoping to see from Jace Young in the spring?
We hope to see him get some big league at bats against quality pitchers to see how he actually looks against those pitches.
