Edit: 5 to 3 stars. Honestly.. it needs work.
I've been listening for a long time, but now more irregularly. The Throwdown Show podcast is comprised of gamers offering commentary on news & also discuss topics sourced from listener questions. Some of the cast panel work in the gaming and/or art industry. They're cool!
CRITICISMS: the show has a lot of coverage bias (ignoring a lot of news); discussions get very repetitive; some unnecessary arguments and cynicism; feedback gets forgotten.

A punchy, opinionated discussions on the latest gaming industry news, trends, and big tentpole topics. Episodes frequently dissect hardware shifts, platform strategies, major studios' moves, and upcoming releases, often skewing toward industry implications, business models, and console ecosystems. The panel blends sharp analysis with candid takes and humor, making it a strong fit for listeners who want unvarnished perspectives from veteran gamers and industry observers.
