  • Stellar

Heather’s storytelling is stellar. She puts massive amounts of time and energy into researching every artist, how she’s going deliver it to the audience, and truly enjoys the entire process. The concept of Three Degrees is genius. Connecting artists in ways most of us didn’t know about; sometimes the connection is mind blowing.

Appleby EP 023 - I'm alive
Q: What was the first major moment that made you think music could be a career?
Realizing the potential of music as therapy and a personal language happened when I started sharing songs that helped others, and when a producer and a musician in the studio encouraged me to pursue it seriously, leading to my first experiences with a real studio and a record that began to travel beyond my bedroom.
Dave Raynor: And then there was Yacht Rock
Q: What led you to leave touring and pursue studio work, and how did that transition unfold?
I grew tired of the road and money pressures, so I shifted to studio work, eventually running my own loft studio and expanding into voiceover and Muzak composition. It was a gradual pivot driven by necessity, curiosity, and the lure of stability and creative control.
