Used to really like this podcast but honestly can’t stand Neil’s replacement. He makes everything feel so forced and just doesn’t fit with the original dynamic. He’s far too American and think a lot of the charm has been lost.
I still listen but it’s a far cry from the old presenters.
Used to be a great podcast but it’s changed and become very American focused. Should be called this week in America.
Was a bit sad when Neil left, but it's still a better show than the retro hour 👌
As someone who started on a ZX80 then ZX81 through ViC 20 then Atari ST I have maintained a strong interest in retro games and computers. I have listened to many retro podcasts but this one is way ahead. Content and presentation is extremely well done and caused me to go to Patreon to give proper recognition of all of the passion and effort put in by the presentation team. Well done!
I’ve been a follower of TWIR for many years and find it one of the best podcasts for Retro News. The presenters provide a great mix of opinion and fact on the stories of the week. If your looking for a podcast that is welcoming and informative, look no further than TWIR.
