The hardest part was setting up and micing everything on the fly, especially without a dedicated guitar or stage tech, which required learning the physical setup from pictures and being self-reliant on day one.

I started at a production company, met John Rupp who worked with the band, and afterward got invited on tour after a festival connection and a plan to go to Australia last November.

Getting yelled at at the Grammys when I was 25 and mixing Gwen Stefani, convincing the team to bring in a specific analog compressor to ensure Gwen heard herself properly, and realizing I'd reached a high level of responsibility and recognition.
