  • Good Content but Awful Presentation

I appreciate what the hosts do as we need more people talking about the CFL. But the product is just dreadful. The hosts are ridiculously monotone; it sounds like more of a sleep story podcast than a football one. And the introduction and transition music is downright weird. Questionable guitar rifts and awkward deep voice announcements. The content is good, just work on your presentation.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Sliding door of fascination (with Ben Grant, TSN 1050 radio, Xs and Argos Podcast).
Q: What does the turnover at head coach mean for the Argonauts' culture and quarterback development?
The hosts and Ben Grant suggest Miller brings familiarity with the system and strong relationships with the QB room, which should help Chad Kelly stabilize and maximize his potential, while also keeping a steady, disciplined approach across the offense.
The next generation quarterback superstar (with Sean Campell, TSN 690 radio).
Q: What impact do you think Jason Moss and the new staff have had on Montreal's performance and culture?
Keeping Moss and the coaching staff in place helped stabilize the organization, maintain continuity for players, and create a cohesive environment that supports Alexander's leadership and the defense's aggressive, read-and-react approach under Noel Thorpe.
The next generation quarterback superstar (with Sean Campell, TSN 690 radio).
Q: How do you see the quarterback situation evolving with Davis Alexander and the other options like Dustin Crumb and Caleb Evans?
Alexander remains the centerpiece if healthy, Crumb brings mobility and potential improvement from Ottawa, and Evans' injury history creates questions; the coaching staff is expected to adapt to maximize whichever quarterback is healthiest and most effective.
The next generation quarterback superstar (with Sean Campell, TSN 690 radio).
Q: What excites you most about this Alouettes team, and where do you think they can be this season?
The excitement centers on Davis Alexander's potential for a full, healthy 18-game season, the defense under Noel Thorpe, and the possibility of a strong, competitive run that could land them in Calgary for the Grey Cup again.
