  • Bad for your brain

Swinging doesn’t work in the long run. It is for those that want hedonistic convenience over meaning and commitment.

  • Let’s Get Past the Drama

Maybe I’m in the minority, but I think you’re trending in a way that your listeners aren’t going to enjoy. Most everyone who’s been around the lifestyle for long will take a wide berth around drama given the choice. You’re committing large blocks of your Thursday episodes to just that. We get it - It happens. Acknowledge it and move on. We don’t need the details.

  • Honesty with Humor

Been a longtime listener, and can say this is easily one of my favorite podcasts of all time. Dan & Lacy are honest, raw, realistic, and authentic. Their stories are entertaining, while also being educational. Their guests are always informative and professional. I enjoy the tips and insights! I find myself laughing, and nodding along. Lacy’s honesty about self love, anxiety, and balancing the reality of aging parents, children, and work are soooo relatable!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Tuesday Talks: Exploring without Being Exposed
Q: Hi Lacy and Dan, I have a Tuesday Talk question that I've been wanting to get your take on. My wife and I have been together for over 25 years and I've just started to talk about getting into the lifestyle. How is discretion handled in the lifestyle and what precautions can be taken to reduce the risk of people finding out?
The hosts acknowledge the legitimacy of the concern, explain that complete anonymity is often unrealistic, and offer practical steps: avoid public faces on profiles, limit activity to paid or private circles, keep sensitive information off social media, and prioritize in-person connections while traveling to reduce local exposure. They stress that community members generally try to protect each other and emphasize realistic expectations about disclosure.
Tuesday Talks: Our Friends Played Without Us...Now What?
Q: Jay from Texas asks how to handle feeling left out when friends in the lifestyle engage with others without inviting them.
The hosts validate the hurt, recommend a direct, adult conversation with the friends to explain feelings and clarify expectations for future swaps, and emphasize that maintaining the friendship is worth the effort if both sides commit to clear rules and open communication.
Tuesday Talks: More Than Skin Deep
Q: I have a rare genetic condition that causes harmless blood blisters; how should I bring this up with potential partners or in a cruise setting?
Lead with honesty and normalize it as a benign condition, then share any relevant test information to reassure others that it's not contagious or dangerous. If appropriate, acknowledge that everyone has their own quirks and that open communication helps everyone feel comfortable.
Tuesday Talks: Finding Your Lifestyle Community and Events
Q: How do you find or create a lifestyle community when local options feel monopolized by a few groups?
The hosts suggest traveling to events as a temporary solution or starting your own local group by rallying friends, appointing a capable organizer, and hosting small meetups or house parties to build a local safe space.
Tuesday Talks: Shots, Safety and STI Risks
Q: This one is from my wife, who is wondering about the safety implication of men doing Trimix shot immediately before sex, especially assuming not divulging that info with their partner.
They explain that there is a real but manageable risk, emphasize getting medical advice, testing, and honest conversations, and suggest using protection and avoiding activities if there are active mouth or body bleeding issues.
