  • I feel absolutely held.

After a full week of holding space for women…. Listening to Lucy’s warm, relatable and bubbly words feels like a mini therapy session/pep talk/debrief…… WITHOUT needing to have any output.

Listening to Lucy’s poddy while smashing out my Saturday morning MOUNTAIN of washing feels like I’m having a ridiculously confirming conversation with a dear friend… except there’s no need to even talk… to simply receive her warm and loveable perspective makes me feel deeply heard and refreshed.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

When the Kids Leave, What’s Left of You?
Q: Is, you know, why is this something for you that you're really interested and passionate about?
It's personal; a life reinvention in midlife sparked by divorce and a search for meaning, which led to becoming a therapist and helping other women through the empty nest transition.
The Girl Inside: Coming Home to Your Inner Child
Q: So, tell us, Laura, how did you become an inner child advocate?
Laura describes a two-part origin: a practical career shift before the pandemic and a personal journey into exploring the inner child through mentoring and creative practices, which revealed her deep interest in this work and led to her current role as an advocate and facilitator.
Slow as a Revolution: Why Feminine Embodiment Matters Right Now!
Q: how do you contain your femininity while also allowing the masculine structure to come in?
By integrating practices that ground the feminine (embodiment, creativity, pleasure) with structured routines and clear communication, and by cultivating self-awareness and emotional release before addressing partners, enabling healthier, more constructive interactions.
Slow as a Revolution: Why Feminine Embodiment Matters Right Now!
Q: why do you believe that this work is so needed right now?
The world is experiencing a collective malnourishment of the feminine, which manifests as overwork, burnout, and misalignment; by nourishing the feminine and balancing it with the masculine, individuals—especially women—can move from striving to a sustainable, embodied presence that enhances both personal well-being and relationships.
