A nice collection of conversations about history that connects the past’s relevance to today. The podcast host’s audio could be better (sounds muffled). Otherwise, the episodes are about the right length - not too long, and not so short that they can’t be in-depth.

And their care with the subject matter is evident, bringing nuance out of their guests at every turn. If you love hearing knowledgeable people talking about their expertise, you will love this show.

I enjoyed the ideas discussed on the homeless capital episode. However it became frustrating to try and make out with many of the speakers tried to say with poor Internet or audio connections. waste of my time with all the dropouts and fuzzy words. The show should vet it’s guests four satisfactory audio connections.
