  • Great podcast

My ‘go to’ rugby podcast. Always informative and interesting. An excellent listen, a great window on the Irish teams. Bernard’s unique experience and perspective, as international player and coach, gives him unparalleled insight into the rugby world. An articulate, eclectic mix of experience, analysis of past games and predictions for this weekend. This week is particularly good with all the stories and comments on player selection, methods and psyche of the teams.

  • Brilliant analysis, best ever advertising at end

Insightful analysis of Irish rugby; always a pleasure and worth the time

The commercial supporter, DoneDeal Motors, has a fantastic semi-punk song at the end; the only podcast where I listen all the way especially to hear the advertiser's jingle.

  • Best Irish Rugby POD

Even the quick 30 Minute free pod is packed with lots of insight not just on Irish Rugby but how the game is played.

  • Generally ok but forget it behind a paywall

I understand they are going behind a paywall. I used to listen to Newstalk golf podcast with spawells Damian McGrane (?) etc but then they went to acast? And behind a €3.99 paywall. Forget it. These subscriptions at €50 per year are poor value compared to Spotify and Netflix. Goodbye Newstalk golf ( who wants to listen to Troy Merritt) and Murray. You guys clearly (for me) do not understand price elasticity Of demand and your show is not worth adding to increasing subscription gouging on our li... more
