This would be a great podcast if the audio wasn’t so terrible on a consistent basis. Considering this is being released by the State broadcaster (TV and radio), there really is no excuse for the audio to be as bad as it is. The most recent episode is one of the worst quality released.
I’ve always struggled with the low volume of these podcasts. I usually listen while working out in the gym, so acknowledge that may be a factor. However, this week’s episode with Bernard Jackman and John Smit was unlistenable! The interviewer, acoustically, sounded like he was in a bathroom and the volume levels were significantly below those of Bernard and Jon, which made the podcast unlistenable.
