  • Nature

Professor Wolf is right but I wish he was wrong. Many citizens couldn’t pray to a tree because they don’t actually know about trees. Nature can be used to solve sophisticated issues, yet its lack of understanding by our society leaves solutions idled and fragmented like our nature itself.

I hope you can implement some “tree facts” or nature factoids in a small section. I’ll tell you now, it’s in worse condition than politics.

We can start to fix it all together much faster than politics. Like N... more

  • Nonsense

According to this guy the Russian are responsible for everything bad that has happened, and they are incompetent. I’m surprised R. K. Swallows this propaganda. More power to the Russians in this do or die effort the USA government has authored.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Democrats on Parade
Q: So what do you think people should know about this multi-person complicated race that's going on?
The race is a messy, multi-candidate field where no clear Democrat has emerged, and voters are weighing identity against platform as well as the feasibility of policy goals like single-payer health care and a realignment of foreign policy stances.
What Works and What Doesn't (w/ Sonali Kolhatkar)
Q: What was your trigger for writing this piece and revisiting this topic?
The trigger was seeing a concrete, well-funded push by right-wing think tanks to frame homelessness as an outcome of individual behavior and to promote punitive, containment-focused policies. Rather than accept that homelessness is a policy failure linked to housing costs and economic structure, these groups push 'solutions' that remove people from view; I used this frame to show why upstream, systemic changes are necessary and more effective.
Prof. Richard Wolff: The Economy Sucks
Q: Am I right or wrong about the contrast with China and the hybrid model?
Correct; the hybrid approach with a significant state role accelerates growth versus a purely private system, which tends to grow more slowly.
Prof. Richard Wolff: The Economy Sucks
Q: Am I wrong?
No, the 2% growth figure is not impressive; services and other components show weakness, and the narrative of resilience misleads about the actual health of the economy.
OIL JUNKIES
Q: Why is renewable energy presented as a strategic alternative rather than just an environmental choice?
Because decentralized energy undermines centralized control by oil interests and creates resilience at the local level, reducing vulnerability to price shocks and political manipulation.
