Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Ep. 970: KWK Owner and Super Collector Shawn Ng
Q: So how does a wrestling fan from Hong Kong get connected to all of these wrestling personalities from over the years?
During my teenage years and my early 20s, I wasn't in Hong Kong. I was in the UK. I was in the US, so I had more chances to be connected with some of these wrestlers.
Ep. 970: KWK Owner and Super Collector Shawn Ng
Q: For those who want to get into this, especially collecting the ring gear, what do you need?
Well, the first part is money. Because I don't mind saying that out loud, but for someone with a certain name value, you're looking at a couple of hundred dollars to at least a thousand dollars.
Ep. 970: KWK Owner and Super Collector Shawn Ng
Q: How did you decide to come up with this particular look for your toy line?
My more favorite toy line is a tie between Hasbro and the Japanese character product figures. So those are probably my favorite lines.
Ep. 966: Weekend Reax: Should WWE Stop Promising WrestleMania Main Events to Royal Rumble Winners?
Q: What makes this different from 2012, for example, when Sheamus won the Royal Rumble and he opened WrestleMania 28?
That's actually a precedent. It shows that not every Royal Rumble winner has to main event WrestleMania.
Ep. 966: Weekend Reax: Should WWE Stop Promising WrestleMania Main Events to Royal Rumble Winners?
Q: Do you think that that's a problem?
Yes, I have a problem with it. They should stop marketing the Royal Rumble as the main event of WrestleMania if it doesn't always happen.
