  • Great Pod

A little hot on certain takes, but that is to be expected, considering how much content my dude pushes out - and the entertainment value of said content. One example is going too hard at kispert.

Spot on with many assessments that the average fan wouldn’t make. It’s good to know there are other people who actually love this franchise, lol.

  • Good pod!

Greg does great work covering a team that is maybe the most difficult to cover over a full season with the sheer amount of bad games. Always a good listen.

Even as a Knicks fan, this is something that I’ll throw on while I do homework just because of how great the points are and well spoken the whole podcast is. I really enjoy tuning into these pods!

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Mailbag: Is Bub the PG of the future; Coulibaly breakout year; Starting 5?
Q: Will the Wizards focus on team building or a free for all for minutes?
Development will be the main focus for this team, with the possibility that playing well could lead to more wins but they aren't actively trying to tank.
Mailbag: Is Bub the PG of the future; Coulibaly breakout year; Starting 5?
Q: At what point does Trey Johnson work his way into the starting lineup?
It depends on injuries, but it's possible he could start by the halfway point of the season if he performs well or if others are unable to play.
Mailbag: Is Bub the PG of the future; Coulibaly breakout year; Starting 5?
Q: Who do you think takes the biggest leap?
Bub Carrington is likely to take the biggest leap due to increased opportunities and being the starting point guard, however, Bilal Coulibaly also needs to step up his game significantly.
Wizards trade for Cam Whitmore
Q: Is Whitmore going to start? What's his role going to be?
Greg believes that while he won't know for sure, Whitmore certainly has a case for starting, possibly playing as a sixth or seventh man off the bench.
Wizards trade Kelly Olynyk, Summer League roster breakdown with Matt Modderno
Q: What do you make of the trade and also what do you make of Whitmore in a possible role in Washington?
It's just smart. I think trying to buy low on a guy that at some point in time was considered a pretty consensus top five pick.
