I’ve only been listening a couple months, but I thoroughly enjoy listening to the new episodes every week. Hanna Raskin brings so much enthusiasm; I love hearing her jump into the topics. Dave Infante is a fun addition and asks great questions to take the conversation to new places. Highly recommended if you’re interested in the Charleston food & bev scene!
Tuned in today and heard Robert Moss has left the Winnow. That’s a huge loss given his significant body of work on Southern food & culture & his regional knowledge. I fear the pod is experiencing the same identity crisis of the Charleston area. If you don’t have a regional focus or expertise, what is the role? I’m not going to tune in to hear whether your new writer from the northeast likes to drink with shrieking kids. I see zero added value at this point from him.
No one knows southern food like Hanna Raskin and Robert Moss.
Good quality, informed hosts, good information on food and beverage in the Charleston and South Carolina area.
Yet to find something Hanna Raskin does that isn't superb.
