418. You Built a Beautiful Life But Is It Still Yours? with Kute Blackson
Q: What practical steps can someone take to uncover and face their truth?
Create space for quiet, journal, ask honest questions about why you want what you say you don't want, and seek support from a coach or therapist to help uncover unconscious payoffs and healing blocks.
418. You Built a Beautiful Life But Is It Still Yours? with Kute Blackson
Q: How can someone tell when to surrender in a relationship versus when to fight or disengage?
Assess whether you and your partner are growing together; if growth stalls and you're no longer evolving, surrender to the truth of the situation, stay for the lesson if possible, and decide whether both parties can grow together or need to part with clear intent.
418. You Built a Beautiful Life But Is It Still Yours? with Kute Blackson
Q: What do you think are some of the most common reasons women in midlife feel stuck?
The reasons vary, but behind them is fear of change and fear of losing safety, along with ego defenses and deep conditioning around identity; the key is recognizing these fears and choosing truth and transformation over comfort.
424. "How Does She Do It All?" Juggling Work, Motherhood, and Divorce Gracefully with Sarah Armstrong
Q: What daily or weekly practice can help listeners feel less overwhelmed?
Implementing a Sunday list to offload nagging tasks from the mind, thereby reducing anxiety and allowing focus on the present week's priorities; keeping separate work and personal lists is also recommended.
424. "How Does She Do It All?" Juggling Work, Motherhood, and Divorce Gracefully with Sarah Armstrong
Q: How can a single mom communicate boundary needs at work without harming her career?
Armstrong advocates for the 'transference of hours' and clearly stating unavailable times, ensuring boundaries are protected; this can involve adjusting schedules, using an assistant, and negotiating time blocks that work for both personal and professional responsibilities.
