A charming long-narrative-arc fiction podcast. I suppose one would call it comedy/"light horror". You get to know some half a dozen ghosts, and some half a dozen of the living, and all their interpersonal relationships (many across the veil). The better you know them, the harder it is to see any of them as bad guys (except a few of the living. Also.....but I shouldn't give that entity away. 😉 )
The first season is a tight, atmospheric and well-contained story. And then it starts building and sprawling and creating a more complex world. The writer really lets the world breathe. This show was a wonderful discovery, highly recommended.
I’m really enjoying this show. The performances are good… well except for the ghost hunting crew. I don’t understand how everyone else on the show can be so good and these 4 are awkward and awkwardly written.
This is a lovely podcast about complicated relationships, familial and otherwise, unexpected friendships and learning to grow - to haunt differently.
This show is engaging, heartfelt, witty, and clever. It never makes me fail to feel better, and the characters are compelling. Often funny, I especially love the ghost who just can’t stop narrating. Taking a gentle tack on life, the show explores difficult things with a loving, gentle and hopeful approach. It never fails to make me smile.
