This podcast is great for all levels of birders, or even those just interested in learning more about birds and those who work in the field! The topics they choose are interesting and entertaining, and I leave each episode excited for the next. Definitely worth the listen.
Andres cannot leave! I love the synergy between him and Andrea. Their chemistry! Their questions! Together they make the show what it is!! I’m sorry Birds Canada but your ratings will suffer now that Andres is gone.
I love the thorough treatment of current bird and related ecological subjects. It’s a great podcast. Nothing is dumbed down, but the personable host makes sure even complex scientific topics are clear. A top notch pod on birds in Canada is very welcome!
This summer I decided to grab a suet feeder and put it out my front window to entertain my dogs. In no time I was hooked. I love the Canadian content in this podcast and the episode about planting a bird garden was the push I needed to take out a section of front lawn and add some plants for birds. Today I planted a red ozier dogwood, wild columbine, stiff goldenrod and some native prairie grasses. So excited to see who shows up at my feeders next year!
