  • Fantastic Commentary

I listen to your show weekly and it’s always entertaining. Didn’t realize I hadn’t left a review previously until you reminded us to send them in. Thanks for the content!

  • Good show but 1 star

Good show, that gets oddly political opiniony, for a non news show at times.

I am an individual that believes in the benefits of capitalism. It’s abundantly clear from listening to this show that we do not share the same opinions in that respect. I have no problem hearing differing opinions, it what makes the world a fun place. During a recent episode the hosts hinted that they don’t particularly appreciate me as a listener bc of those opinions. It kinda sucked. I will keep listening on apple... more

  • Complicit

The author of War of the Spark: Forsaken thanked Nic “Technically the Girls Were Legal” Kelman, and in the next sentence he thanked the host of this cast, Jay Annelli. I believe Jay Annelli continues to enable Kelman, and I cannot in good conscience endorse this podcast.

  • The great disappointment of Kaervek

While M21 is relatively good, the new Kaervek does not do the character justice. Can’t wait to hear your opinions on the Flavor Gems Episode! On a second note, halfway through the second episode of the D&D, and I am willing to bet that the person was murmured by HIS OWN BONDED MONSTER. Can’t wait to see if I am right, or slightly disappointed if I am not. Keep it up!

  • A good podcast

I want to get this out of the way, for the most part I think the cast is very good and most of the host have good chemistry.

But I’m going to be honest it feels like they have to many “hosts” why is Ashley considered on when 99% of the time she just says 5 sentences at max. At that point why is even on.

They cover a great range of Vorthos knowledge and make it pretty easy to listen to.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

358 - Seth Dickinson on The Edge
Q: What types of games have you been playing lately?
I play a lot of co-op video games with friends, and I recently finished 'Claire Obscure Expedition 33', which I cannot recommend highly enough.
357 - The Write Stuff
Q: What do you want out of a community of writers?
Diversity of portfolio and people; it helps everyone grow their writing skills in new areas.
341 - Vorthos Mailbag X
Q: Now that we are three years out from that recording, what are your thoughts on the state of gay in both the show and in Magic the Gathering overall?
There's been growth in queer representation, but more needs to be done for queer men.
341 - Vorthos Mailbag X
Q: What would be your favorite walker's companion creature?
Depends on the planeswalker. Nicol Bolas would favor Gairuta.
341 - Vorthos Mailbag X
Q: If old walkers had the ability to change their bodies and appearance at will, and Soren Markov was an old walker who also hated being a vampire, why didn't he just use his old walker power to cure himself of vampirism?
It would be boring, and vampirism could be tied to his soul, meaning it wouldn't be a simple fix.
